There are three types of buys to make on a new home, a new builder inventory home, an existing home and a new construction home. Which one offers the best value? There is no definitive answer. Markets change, availability changes and location are all key factors.

Many builders will be willing to work with you regarding financing incentives, such as low down payments, a low interest rate, and even provide other incentives hoping that the incentives will drive the buyers.

So, this is one area where the best value is certainly an inventory home. They are brand new, but not customized as you probably would if building new, but with the savings, you should be able to customize as you wish, and still be way ahead.
